Whale Watching

You may be lucky enough to glance a Minke or pilot whale right from your balcony, but if not, there is plenty of opportunity to go out on a boat in Ingonish and surrounding areas to get a closer look.

Kayaking

Sea kayaking in the area is exceptional. If you do not plan to bring your own kayak, there are several places in Northern Cape Breton to enjoy a kayaking excursion or rental.

Golfing

The Highlands Links Golf Course, just 8 km away from the Driftwood Lodge, boasts some spectacular scenery and is rated as the top public golf course in Canada.
